From Chocolate Dipped Strawberries to our fabulous Chocolate Covered Strawberry Cupcake, we've got you covered in the dessert department. Valentine's Day is always a busy one for us, and we encourage you to pre-order to make sure you don't get left empty handed! 	By Olivia Guerra O'Neal on 01/03/2012 Hello everyone! Due to the recent news of our expansion, we will be keeping our normal hours of 11-8 Tuesday through Saturday and 11-4 on Sunday. At the time of our Grand Expansion Celebration which we are hoping to hold mid-February, we will be extending our hours. Thank you for your understanding! In the meantime, come try our two new cookie flavors: Triple Peanut Butter and Texican Wedding Cookies. We are sampling them out free today (1/3/11) while supplies last! We are blogging today with some very exciting news: SUGAR MAMA'S BAKESHOP IS EXPANDING! Our neighbors at Secret Oktober found a great space a few blocks down, which means that we will be taking over the entire building! We have big plans which we will reveal over the coming weeks, but for now you can dream about a large seating area and a fun drink menu with WiFi so you can sit back, relax and enjoy your tasty Sugar Mama sweets. We will be planning a grand re-opening in February, so put those party pants on and stay tuned for more info! Much love, Sugar Mama


	By Olivia Guerra O'Neal on 12/21/2011 Happy Holidays Sugar Friends! We can't thank you enough for all of your support in 2011. We hope you all are enjoying a beautiful and joyful holiday season with friends and family. It’s not too late to order holiday pies, or some of our snowflake sugar cookies or Peppermint Bark cupcakes that are guaranteed to make your holiday celebrations a little bit sweeter! We wanted to take a moment to let you know what our holiday hours will be, and about a few new fun happenings at the shop. We will be open from 11AM – 4PM on Saturday, December 24^th. We will be closed Sunday, December 25 –December 30^th so that we all may enjoy some holiday time with our families. We will reopen on December 31^st from 11AM – 8PM, and be closed on January 1^st. Finally, we are excited to announce that beginning in 2012 we will have extended hours which many of y’all have been requesting for quite some time. Our new hours will be as follows: Tuesday – Thursday 10AM – 8PM Friday – Saturday 10 AM – 9PM Sunday – 10AM – 5PM Now that we’re opening a bit earlier, we’ll be serving up our delicious Brioche Cream Cheese Cinnamon Rolls, Lemon Poppy Seed and Pumpkin teabreads and Cowboy’s Chocolate Pound Cake (V) every single beautiful morning! With the changing of the leaves and the singed grass from our long hot summer comes my favorite time of the year - FALL! Cooler temperatures, back to school, holidays spent with family and friends and my favorite: nostalgic desserts. One bite of pumpkin pie takes me back and memories of baking with and for loved ones and reminds me why we're all here at Sugar Mama's Bakeshop; so that we can be a part of Your holiday memories, and all of your celebrations throughout the year! Because you allow us to share in these memory making holidays and fun family celebrations, we've arrived at a very important milestone - OUR THREE YEAR ANNIVERSARY! Throughout the past few years we've grown in more ways than we could have imagined, and if you've been in lately you've probably seen our brand spankin' new bakery case stocked with yummy banana and pumpkin breads, alongside full size cakes and pies you can come swoop up any day of the week!
