Return of the Son of Name That Cupcake
Yes, I know the poll is supposed to end tonight. Yes, I know I dropped the ball. Please accept my apology by way of presenting you with a plethora of name choices for your approval.
We're moving the cutoff date for voting to this Saturday (5/29) at midnight. Vote early, but don't vote often. If you try to skew the polls so you can win the coolest t-shirt ever and
we find out, we will set that shirt on fire right in front of you. And then give the ashes to the runner up.

Name That Cupcake
Have you ever felt you really wanted to name something, but didn't want all the responsibility of a child, or dog, or houseplant? Do you like cupcakes? Are you running low
on workout shirts?
Well good news, because we have the contest for you! Submit your suggestions for our newest flavor (chocolate cupcake, vanilla buttercream swirled with toffee, dipped
in ganache and sprinkled with even more toffee) and you could win a dozen cupcakes and a gin-u-wine Sugar Mama's Bakeshop t-shirt! Send your entries to
info@sugarmamasbakeshop.com by 11:59 PM this Tuesday, May 25th.
After that, Sugar Mama will take the best suggestions for the new cupcake and post a poll right here on this site - polling ends at 11:59 PM Thursday, May 27th. If you get the most votes, you win it all! You
can mock your fellow competitors and their inferior naming skills. No longer will you feel like a lesser person to your sister who named her kids Quelly and Maxon. No longer will
you hang your head in shame as your neighbor walks his pet Lab mix named "Fred".
So come on, give us your best shot. Even the off color ones (those are secretly our favorite). And don't try to game the voting system. We know who you are, and we
have a very far reach.

FREE TONIGHT AT SUGAR MAMA'S - Lincoln Durham Live!
If you folks are heading out to see some good live music tonight, have we got the treat for you! Why not get your evening started by heading on down to Sugar Mama's to see one of our favorite local artists, Lincoln Durham!
Lincoln will be playing his original roots blues between 6pm - 8pm at our very own little bakery. Sugar Mama's will help you get fueled up for the evening with some of free Raspberry Lemonade cake (free!).
Come check him out (free!) before he's too famous for you to afford a ticket!

Sugar Mama's Sugar Cookies 101 - Valentine's Day Themed Cookies
Ever want to learn how the pros do it? Now you can on February 8th from 7pm to 9pm!
Join us for Sugar Mama's first ever class - Sugar Cookies 101 - to learn the basics of mixing, rolling out, cutting, and decorating beautifully
iced sugar cookies just in time for Valentine's Day! Each student will be decorating 6-8 cookies in this 2 hour, limited attendance class. No need to bring any materials, Sugar Mama's
Bakeshop will provide everything you need, including complimentary champagne cocktails to get you in the Valentine's Day spirit. At the end of the class, you will package and take home your decorated cookies as well as one of our time-tested sugar cookie recipes!
This class is open to adults only and is taught by Andrea Leck, Pastry Chef and Decorator - graduate of the New England Culinary Institute, and member of the Sugar Mama's baking team!
